Tea Poem: Kindred Soul

By Emily Seaman

I remember the times
Mom,
In the kitchen we'd be.
Sharing a cup
Of tea.
We would talk about life
and the laughter we'd shared.
It seemed as if
time
just stood still.

When the sharing was over.
Our hearts
they were full.
Till next time we'd meet again.

Tea time with you Mom.
Shared by my kindred soul.
Taking all of our topics
to prayer.
